Week 4 - Fisher House (1:50)

This is incomplete. I spend too much of my time making the external detailing. The exterior is completely finished, probably at a level of detail that is lost in the tiny scale. However, once I started with intricate/interior detailing I left I needed to continue it through the whole building. As a result other elements are incomplete.


This workshop has taught me a lot in model making as it is my first time experiencing with models and cutting balsa wood. I can see that my model making skills are improving since the beginning (barcelona pavilion to fisher house). 

Week 3 - Fisher House landscape (1:200)

This particular take home task allowed us to explore the crafting of contours with a site model.

Week 2 - 3 Creative Shapes + Barcelona Pavilion (1:200)

This task was to design 3 models based on the given section as the only limitation. This helps us to think about the creativity shapes which can be incorporate into models through our ideas, The task improved our creativeness.

The model making of Barcelona Pavillion is the first building that we have to model make. It gives us a variety model making skills including straight cutting, glueing, calculating and measuring and  joining pieces together.
